K.C. Hatton studied audio engineering, jazz guitar, and music performance with a minor in jazz bass, at Shenandoah University and received his Bachelor of Music degree in Commercial Music.
In addition to performances with a folk duo, and as a member of a jazz fusion group, K.C. performs weekly with his band, "Urban Style" which is a four-piece power pop rock band that has been together since 1998. Urban Style just released a seven-song CD from which the song titled "Stop" can be heard on 98 Rock in Baltimore and 96 Rock in Delaware. Urban Style performs all over the east coast and has shared the stage with major acts such as The Pietasters, Fighting Gravity, and Sev, to name a few. Urban Style was recently featured in YM magazine as one of their favorite DC-area rock bands.
